The Active 2 set the value benchmark when it launched in January 2025. A hundred dollars buys a 2,000-nit AMOLED, five-system GPS, free offline maps with turn-by-turn, 164 sport modes, and ten days of battery in a 29.5g case. The health stack is unusually complete for the money — sleep staging with REM and breathing quality, sleep HRV, 24/7 SpO2 and stress, and a daily Readiness score. The $129.99 Premium swaps in sapphire and enables the NFC chip, but the payment service only works in Europe, so US buyers are paying for the glass. No onboard music.
